microsoft outlook express downloads

Microsoft Outlook e-mail software…?

Does anyone know if I can and where I can download Microsoft Outlook for free? Or is this a program that has to be purchased?
I already have Outlook Express 6, but it is old and I would like an updated version. I don’t have a preference as to which version (2003, 2007 or Express, whatever). Any suggestions? Thanks
