microsoft outlook express problems
how to properly use microsoft outlook, outlook express since I’ve never set it up..have been using isp e-mail,

also using yahoo and hotmail… this all started when I needed to send a copy of a receipt to a company… we have an HP psc 1350v… scanned the image saved to psc program… but have no way to send it to isp e-mail.. the printer is installed properly.. have used it in many capacities, just not to attach scanned item to e-mail… which I know should be able to be done! I have never used outlook express and don’t know how to set it up… ( should I have an e-mail address set up for this already? I’m not aware of one!) can anyone help me on either of these problems? thank you very much in advance

I have the same problem, but I figured out how to use Thunderbird (a free and better alternative to Outlook) a few days ago. Outlook should be something similar, so here’s what you can do:
The trick is to enable POP access of your email accounts (Yahoo! and Hotmail) from your inbox (I use Gmail, so can’t help you with Yahoo! or Hotmail). Next, fire up Outlook and create a new account. In the “incoming server” and “outgoing server”, enter pop.mail.yahoo.com (or pop.hotmail.com). Enter all your account details and it should work out. In case it doesn’t, call your ISP and ask them the correct incoming and outgoing server addresses.
