Everyone is going to have a different opinion on each computer manufacturer. That fact is, if you take care of your computer, it will last a very long time. Get a good anti-spy-ware, anti-virus, and firewall application and your machine will run fast for a long time.
Personally, I have 2 dell laptops that work just fine. The specs you give is a fine computer, but you do not list what you will use it for. This is important, although you have almost everything covered. It is a good computer.
Dell coupons can be found at http://www.24houredeals.com/Dell-coupons-23-mer.html if you need them.
Good luck.
