When writing a research paper in Microsoft word, if it is supposed to be double spaces, should I have an extra

should I have an extra double space between paragraphs? So it would be a total of 4 spaces between paragraphs? I am not indenting the paragraphs. Does anyone know if this is the correct fromat.
